Confronted - dVerse Poetics






Defeated by straying 
Fill in the whole entity
Falter then stutter
Words gibber, 
Hum and haw.

No promised day
No cherished memory
How the presence,
Seem so continuance.
Approaching snake, stealthily
Without warning.

    I didn't get the image, but enjoyed you poem a lot. It seems like it would go well with some of her more abstract art.

    I see this is a popular abstract painting ~

    There is something sinister about the snake approaching without warning ~ The feeling of being in a corner in defeat is what I get from your post ~
